When Sheryl Brown woke up one morning and couldn’t move, Bowdle Healthcare became her partner in getting her health back.

“In Bowdle we are very fortunate to have great care right in town,” said Brown, “because if not, my husband would not have been able to come and be with me and visit me every day. Every day. It meant a whole lot that he was there.”

Bowdle Healthcare’s team showed compassion and concern through it all.

“I think the smaller the town, the better the care.”

“I was at Mayo Clinic and the care was good, but the care that you get in a small town is more personal, more loving in that way,” added Brown, “and I think it was a whole lot better in that way.”

Brown’s husband was by her side through it all.

“A CNA has a lot of responsibility. There’s a lot of concern they have, there’s a lot of care for people and when they walk out of the room and they tell you ‘God Bless,’ that’s not a requirement for a CNA because my wife was one,” explained her husband. “They show you great patience and they show you love and they got it right here in the whole facility.”
